Search Marketing (Google Ads) Simulation

In Novela's first digital marketing simulation, learners develop customer insights, select keywords, set bids, and create your own ads. Novela’s ultra-realistic auction engine gauges ad quality, calculates AdRank, and provides granular trend data from simulated competitors. Students compete in a live leaderboard and develop digital marketing skills through hands-on practice!

 

This digital marketing simulation includes two challenges that teach different elements of the marketing syllabus. The first teaches the core principles of search marketing and customer insights, while the second adds an extra dimension with increased competition and advanced customer segmentation. 

Learning Outcomes: Novela's Search Marketing Simulations 

1. Understand the core components and principles of paid search marketing campaigns, including keywords, bidding, and ad creative.​

2. Develop the ability to analyze and interpret real-time data to make data-driven decisions for optimizing marketing campaigns.

3. Gain practical experience in crafting and optimizing ad copy, understanding quality scores, and budget allocation.

4. Learn marketing skills and strategies for evaluating campaign performance, including understanding key performance indicators (KPIs) and how to act on them for improvement.

Social Media Marketing (Meta Ads) Simulation

In Novela's second digital marketing simulation, learners build a realistic campaign for both Instagram and Facebook Ads to hit ambitious sales goals for a direct-to-consumer beauty brand. Students engage with customers, create audience segments, master automated bidding, and create ads that resonate with their chosen customer segments. All the while, they learn to use AI tools to inform their decisions.

 

Novela's state-of-the-art auction mimics Meta Ads' function and AI feedback systems guide students towards robust learning outcomes.
